Automatic Robotic Palletizers
ELCAT Food Technology develops palletizing systems as part of a complete end-of-line automation process, integrating case handling, conveying and pallet management according to the production layout. Solutions can be specifically designed for the food industry and high-humidity production environments.
From compact Cartesian palletizers to fully automated cells with six-axis robots and automatic pallet handling, each system is engineered around the required production output, case dimensions, palletizing patterns, available space and level of automation.
Cartesian Palletizing Systems
ELCAT's Cartesian palletizing systems provide a compact solution for automatic case handling and pallet formation.
Cases are picked from the infeed conveyor and positioned automatically according to the selected palletizing pattern, ensuring accurate and repeatable load formation.
Depending on the required level of automation, pallet handling can be manual or automatically integrated into the system.
Six-Axis Robotic Palletizing Systems
ELCAT's six-axis robotic palletizing systems provide greater flexibility for different case formats, palletizing patterns and handling requirements.
The articulated robot can perform case picking, pallet formation and pallet handling, using gripping systems engineered for the specific application.
For higher automation levels, the system can integrate automatic pallet supply, change and completed-pallet discharge.

Three Levels of Palletizing Automation
ELCAT Food Technology develops palletizing systems with different levels of automation, allowing each configuration to be adapted to the required production capacity, available space and level of operator involvement.
From manual pallet handling to fully automated pallet management, the system can be configured around the actual requirements of the end-of-line process.

Compact Palletizing
Automatic Pallet Change
Fully Automated Palletizing
A compact configuration for applications where automatic pallet formation is required without automatic pallet handling.
The robot picks incoming cases and positions them according to the selected palletizing pattern.
Once the pallet is complete, the operator removes it and positions the next empty pallet.
For production lines requiring greater continuity, the system can integrate automatic pallet change without interrupting the palletizing cycle.
While one pallet is being completed, an empty pallet is prepared for the next cycle.
Once the pallet is complete, it is discharged and the waiting pallet moves into the loading position, ready for the next cycle.
For higher automation levels, the system integrates automatic pallet supply, robotic palletizing and completed-pallet discharge.
Empty pallets are supplied automatically while the robot manages the programmed palletizing cycle.
Once complete, the full pallet is transferred to the outfeed and the next cycle begins.
Gripping Systems Designed for the Application
Each palletizing application requires a handling solution adapted to the case dimensions, weight, surface characteristics and palletizing pattern.
ELCAT Food Technology can integrate vacuum or mechanical gripping systems, configured for single or multiple case picking according to the required production capacity and load configuration.
Where required, the palletizing system can also manage interlayer sheets between pallet layers, integrating their handling directly into the automated cycle.

Integrated End-of-Line Automation
ELCAT Food Technology develops palletizing systems as part of a complete end-of-line automation process, integrating case handling, conveying and pallet management according to the production layout.
Cases can be received, conveyed and prepared for robotic palletizing, while completed pallets are automatically transferred to the required downstream handling area.
By engineering the different operations around the complete production flow, ELCAT Food Technology can integrate palletizing with surrounding automation as one coordinated system.
Palletizing Systems Engineered Around Your Requirements
Every palletizing project starts from the specific requirements of the production line. ELCAT Food Technology evaluates production speed, case formats, pallet dimensions, palletizing patterns and available footprint to define the most suitable system configuration.
The result is a tailor-made palletizing solution designed to combine the required performance with the appropriate level of automation, while considering production environment, accessibility, operator interaction and future integration requirements.
From an individual palletizing unit to a more complete end-of-line project, each system is developed around the customer’s actual production needs.
